Paul Bernard Dilworth : ウィキペディア英語版 | Paul Bernard Dilworth Paul Bernard Dilworth (January 31, 1915 – February 18, 2007) was an influential Canadian aeronautical engineer and the founder of Dilworth Secord and Meagher Associates Ltd. As an employee of the National Research Council (NRC) in Ottawa, Dilworth was an executive member of the team involved in Canada's first jet engine tests in 1943, serving as manager of the cold-weather test station Turbo Research Ltd. from September 1944 until May 1946. He became the chief engineer in the Gas Turbine Division of Orenda Engines when Turbo Research Ltd. was sold. He worked on the engine design of the Avro CF-100 (predecessor to the Avro Arrow) for Orenda. In 1952, he created Paul Dilworth & Company (later retitled Dilworth Secord and Meagher Associates Ltd.), an engineering consulting firm of international scale. ==Honours and legacy==
